Its back to being a wonderful simple game.

Upgrade is a little better Poor image quality. Tiny text at bottom right. Is anyone testing on different devices? The game sounds are still broken. Game sounds play even while Im trying to listen to music. Please allow me to disable the game noises as before. I used to rate this 5 stars.

Update 7 Oct: need to note that even after the fix to the update, you cannot see the armies for Peru on a 6 plus in zoom mode. Need to shift the armies over so they are directly over Peru instead of in the ocean or make the text box that shows all of the cards and armies smaller. Update: fix to previous update is better. I can see Greenland now on my 6 plus in zoom view. The box that shows the army and card counts is still too large though. If text on the lower left box was more closer in size with the messages that appear on the lower right, the appearance would be better. The box covers part of South America on my screen now. Two stars added for a total of 4. Old review: The view of the world is zoomed in too far. Looks bad compared to previous version. The text box is way to large when the iPhone zoom display is on. Again, was fine in the previous version.

Favorite IOS game for years! New AI makes the game a little more challenging which is fun after years of playing!!

This update is a lot better, but the graphics are still a little blurry on the Plus and the countries still extend beyond the screens boundaries. I also own Lux Dlx, but I like the simplicity of this version for a quick game.

Ive been using this game since it came out in 2008. I still play with it a few times a day. I know it is ridiculous that I keep playing the same game over and over but I love it.

If we could play against other players (even on the same iPhone), this might be a flawless game. I cant stop playing! Very fun.

This game used to be a lot of fun but it seems theyve made some changes in an attempt to make the game more challenging. Unfortunately they failed miserably at achieving this. While the game is certainly more difficult to win, it seems to come down to chance now. Where as before, it was somewhat predictable as to how many of your guys you would lose when attacking an enemy occupied country. Now however the amount of damage you can inflict and take seems to vary widely, again, making it nearly impossible to strategize as you have no idea if you army of 9 will be able to take out a measly little army of one that the enemy has occupying a country. Just a minute ago I was attacking with an army of 67 and it was reduced to 54 after attacking a blank space. A blank space! Literally no armies on the country and it killed 13 of mine. Yet when the enemy goes on a run, it will decimate all your blank spaces, losing only one army against each of your blank spaces. The game is almost completely random now and it took a lot of the fun out of it. I would pass on this until the issues are dealt with. And certainly pass on the paid version as its probably the same.

The latest update removed the army graphics clutter. The map is half-fixed: still distorted on iPhone 6+ but at least its visible. Come on guys! Either perform proper platform testing before a release, or just revert to the old version that worked. You had a great game; why did you screw it up?

Ive had this strategy game for several years now and play it almost on a daily basis! I like the different possible outcomes and especially the satisfaction of victory!

This used to be my favorite game. Its been screwed up since the "upgrade"! I cant rate 0 stars. Change it back!

Easy to play. If you play Risk©, youll find this to be the same. Lots of fun. Does drain battery after playing a while, but worth it.

This is a fun game. Both my husband and I enjoy playing it. Ive read the reviews about the probabilities being skewed, and that has happened to me. But its still fun. I agree that it would be great to be able to turn off the sound, but you can always turn down the sound on your phone or iPad.

After playing this game for years across many devices including the desktop versions, Im calling it quits and uninstalling until a future update resets the roll probability. Its unplayable in its current release. Constantly losing +15 v 1 is insane. Ive had games where I couldnt gain a single territory at the start.. So stupid.

This game should really be great. There are two problems however: 1) The AI bots are terrible. 95% of the time you will win with absolutely no challenge. What fun is there in that? 2) The other 5% of the time you will lose, not because the AI outsmarts you, but because the AI will send 6 armies against your 30 and take you down to 4 or youll take 15 against 2 and lose. Im a statistician and regularly get so supremely screwed that Ill calculate the probability of some of these feats (assuming a Risk roll system) and have found some to be over 10,000:1. Between those two factors your almost assured to be either completely bored or infuriatingly screwed. Skip it.
